So I am not hearing "Step-Hup" or "Step-off" which are commands you need to layer into these young dogs.
On the "Let's go" and Cinnamon did not move, please do not revert to "Come-on". Even though "Let's go" is informal, it is STILL a command and is to be obeyed. Me? I would have dragged her off and then repeated the exercise until she understood, clearly, and obeyed.
FWIW, the first couple of days here with Ruth, she did not like the collar pressure when coupled with the ,"Let's go," and simply laid on the ground refusing to move. She got dragged a few times and then decided that command means, "Better get up right now and move towards my owner." She's overcome her initial hesitation and now moves quickly when either I or Wayne give the informal command of "Let's go".
