Can't believe you work with bare lower leges exposed. Yikes!
Anyway, good intro to ILL, here are my pointers. 1) WHERE is your Safety Loop on LL? 2) When you get to the end of Point A or Point B, Walk the Line using your LEFT foot with small steps at a 45-degree angle to the right. You do NOT step on the line with your right foot and use your left foot to reposition dog as this is bass akwards in conceptually training the dog to 'read your feet'. 3) So, when you do Walk the Line with your left foot, by default, the right calf (not the foot) is dragged backwards to come close to dog's right side as an 'energy' to move them around to face a new direction. 4) Ah - hum?? What foot is used to communicate to the learning dog to 'go with me?' Look at what foot you stepped off on at second count 1:52. 5) Clearly, Frannie has zero concept of being in 'the Safety Zone' on your left side. If you work her in an actual alley, tunnel or corridor, with boundaries, she will learn faster that the left side is 'the Safety Zone'. 6) You are using a martingale collar? If Frannie is more than 16 weeks old, and I know she is, then switch to a properly fitting chain collar when you are working her. She's old enough for that clear leash/collar communication at 16 weeks old.
