Good practice. Your Halt mechanics are becoming more fluid and smoother.
On the Stand, only 3 circles are required, I got dizzy watching you do 6 and would have fallen over from circling that many times-:) But Fran held. When you leave dog on a Stand, 'Set' their shoulders, that is do a small push downward on their withers which helps the dog to 'brace' and stand tall and straighter. Make sure you are in correct Heel position before you leave the dog on a Stand/Stay, that is the dogs right shoulder is in line with your leg's left pant seam.
Right Turn - weight is to be on LEFT foot, planted at 45 degree angle to the right, THEN turn. You are still doing that stop and bring your heels together mechanic which is clearly a habit you are used to doing. Work on changing this mechanics.
Left Turn - weight is to be on RIGHT foot, planted at 45 degree angle to the left. THEN turn.
On Recall to SSIF, DO NOT BOW TO YOUR DOG. Why? Because in doing so you are training the learning dog that your extra mechanic, the bow, is part of the Recall. Oh groan, what happens when the dog can't see you and you do a Recall. When you've trained the dog to the Recall, "Come" includes you bowing, if the dog can't see you (or isn't looking at you), the Recall then is null and void in dog's mind.
DO NOT BOW TO YOUR DOG DOING A FORMAL RECALL.
Got it?
Week 4 EXAM due tomorrow sometime, I am uploading Ruth's Week 4 EXAM now. She passed beautifully this morning.
